Flower Essences
flower
The use of flower essences is an ancient practice whereby the emotional/psychological state of an animal is brought into balance by the vibrational healing energy of a particular plant. An animal can become more courageous, calmer, more playful, less territorial, etc. with the help of flower essence remedies.

I have trained under the guidance of Lila Devi, author of Flower Essences for Animals and the Essential Flower Essence Handbook. I use her Master's
Spirit In Nature Flower Essences, the oldest line of flower essences in the United States. I also use Dr. Edward Bach's original classic remedies.

Meridian Therapy

Blockages in the body’s energy flow can cause emotional, mental and/or behavioral problems sometimes resulting in physical illness.

Also called “tapping”, Meridian Therapy involves touching or gently tapping certain acupressure points along the major meridians of the body. This pulsing of the energy points, along with mental focus and intention results in re-energizing the system and clearing blockages.

Proxy or Surrogate Tapping is often used effectively with animals making it easy and less invasive.

I like to use a combination of tapping and flower essences customized for each animal in my care.

Flower Essence consultation and Meridian Therapy may be done in person, by phone or e-mail. Geographic territory is unlimited by phone and e-mail.

Tellington T-Touch (T-TouchTM )
The T-Touch method is based on circular movements of the fingers and hands over the animal's body. Its intent is to activate and awaken cellular intelligence - a little like 'turning on the electric lights of the body.' Often, this can make major positive changes in the animal's behavior and personality, as well as considerably speeding up the healing of wounds.

Frequently Asked Questions
What are flower essences?
Flower essences are the captured essential quality of the flower of specific plants. In the case of the Master's Flower Essences there are 20 different types of plants used.

How do they work?
Flower essences work on a vibrational healing principle, fine-tuning at the mental, emotional and psychological levels. Many veterinarians in the U.S. and abroad use flower essences as part of their holistic approach to healing.

What do they actually do?
By allowing an animal to regain emotional balance, flower essences assist in physical healing and psychological well-being.

Note: FEs are not designed to replace veterinary care and proper nutrition.

What results should I expect?
Behavioral changes may be seen immediately. They can be very subtle or instantly obvious. If your cat, for example, is shy and fearful the proper flower essence remedy can help him or her become more self-confident and courageous. Or your dog might be territorial; an essence program can help to relax that behavior and open other options.

Are there any negative side-effects?
There are no negative side-effects. In fact, flower essences are an extremely safe remedy that can be given with no contraindication along with other herbal remedies or medications.

Is a flower essence difficult to give to my animal?
There are several ways to administer the essences, making it easy to give to your animal. This will be covered in your consultation.
